The “coolest” English slang word

I would suggest that “cool” could be the most common slang word used by native speakers in the U.S. and the UK.

It is a positive adjective which has a range of meanings such as: “OK”; “good”; “popular”; “fashionable”; “fine”; “nice”; “fun”.

EXAMPLES

“She’s really cool.” (She’s really nice / popular.)

“That’s cool.” (That’s good / fine / ok.)

Cool.” (Good / fine / ok.)

“He’s the coolest person I know.” (Nicest / most fun / best person.)
