Time flies at Easter

In the UK it is the Easter weekend. This includes bank holidays on Friday and Monday. Bank holidays are where most people don’t go to work, so people have four days off this weekend and it’s called a long weekend.

“Time flies”

If time goes quickly, in English we say time flies.

EXAMPLE

“The long Easter weekend is like a holiday. Time flies for most people when they’re on holiday.”

If you celebrate Easter, happy Easter to you!
